This past week I have gone to a couple thrift/consignment stores in search of dress pants for work. I went into Clothes Mentor and Turnstyle Consignment. They have more of the name brand clothes. That is not a priority for me, I am not one that has to have designer brands. I had Alex with me, he was a little fussy, so I did not look too hard at their stuff. I just did a quick browse at their selection.
I then went to the Goodwill with Alex yesterday. We first looked at the Halloween selection. I found a cute giraffe and elephant costume for Alex, but I know Paul would not think it was so cute. I then found a spider costume for him. I thought for $9 I couldn’t pass it up. It looks nice and warm for him as well. I also got him a pumpkin shirt. We then went to look for clothes for me. I was able to find two pairs of dress pants for myself. I have always had a hard time finding clothes for myself, and since having Alex it has been even harder. I was very happy to find two pairs that were comfortable and they were only $9 a piece. Overall, we had a very successful trip! We will have to start going there more often.
